Our tequila tasting cruise will be hosted by tequila aficionado Rachel Cate and will feature rare high-end tequilas not available locally. Jim, Kris and family were busy running Wood’ys grill and bar, a popular casual dining restaurant concept with multiple locations but the opportunity to acquire Sacramento’s original excursion boat was too good to pass up. Our rooms have been converted from the original staterooms to comfortable chambers with views of the Old Sacramento Historic District and the Sacramento River. Ideally located adjacent to downtown, the Delta King offers an authentic cultural perspective to the blossoming city. Rio City Cafe is situated right on the boardwalk in the beautiful, historic Old Sacramento Waterfront overlooking some of the most prominent landmarks. The Sacramento River runs by our spacious outdoor patio, with spectacular views of the historic Tower Bridge, the Ziggurat (Pyramid) building, and much more. We offer a full bar, specialty cocktails, beers, and a well-rounded wine list.
It brings an open, airy, and rustic feel with that classic touch that ties in with the rest of the Old Sacramento Waterfront District.
